Some wild striking there from Rios.
Rios lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Slice blocks a jab. Rios throws a hook to the side of Slice's head but Slice sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Slice lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rios swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Slice counters with a left and a right that stings Rios. Rios moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Slice throws a head kick that misses and Rios counters with a one-two to the body. Rios lands a jab to Slice's midsection. Slice checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.#T1##CL2# Slice rushes Rios and presses him up against the cage. Slice jumps guard but Rios stands there with Slice around his waist. Slice gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Rios connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Slice's hands. Slice is still on wobbly legs! Can Rios finish him? Rios circles away from the clinch attempt and Rios counters with a crisp right that sends Slice to the canvas! Rios follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!

#R1##TD# Jones drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Slice keeping his opponent close. Jones tries to move into full mount but can't pass Slice's legs. #SUB# Jones working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. We've been hearing good reports from Jones's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jones has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Slice! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones working the ground and pound effectively.
Jones wants to control the pace but Slice is squirming around nicely. #T1# Jones working Slice over with strikes here. Jones pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Jones lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Franco fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Slice misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. A quick step to the side and Franco tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Slice fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. It looked like Franco wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Franco misses with a looping left. Slice with the counter takedown but Franco avoids it easily. Juan David Franco seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A big left from Franco misses. #TD2# Slice scores with a takedown into Franco's guard. Franco keeping moving, preventing Slice from controlling successfully. Slice loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Franco on his back here. Franco throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Slice on the side of the head. Franco stuffs the takedown attempt from Slice. Slice gets slowly back to his feet. Franco thows a left - swing and a miss! Franco lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.#CL2# Slice moves into the clinch.#T4# Franco is trying to push Slice away but Slice has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.#BC2# Slice pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Franco connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Slice's hands. Franco scores with a push kick. This has been an exciting period of action! Nice uppercut lands for Franco. That snapped Slice's head back.

Hank darts in looking for a takedown but Slice gets double underhooks and turns Hank into the cage. A short right hand to the side of the head by Slice. Slice lands a shoulder strike. Hank misses with a hook from the clinch. Slice lands a hook to the side of the head.#BC2# Slice breaks the clinch.

Hank's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!#TD# Hank has picked Slice up - he's going for a ride! Hank dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hank is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Hank is pressing down on Slice's thigh, looking to free his foot. Hank is trying to drag Slice to the mat but Slice just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Hank is keen to just control but Slice is a slippery customer. Hank wants to advance to full mount but Slice doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead. Hank prevents Slice from getting back to his feet. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Hank pushing down on Slice's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Cartwright has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Slice displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Cartwright. #CL# Cartwright moves into the clinch successfully.

#SUB# Cartwright had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Slice defends it easily. Cartwright is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. #REVR# Cartwright winds up and cracks Slice with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Cartwright wants to control but Slice is keeping him busy. Slice is looking to escape. Slice wants to sweep but Cartwright has passed to side control! and Slice counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Slice cracks a nice hook into Jackson's ribs. Jackson moves out of range as Slice strikes. Jackson throws a looping overhand right but Slice ducks down to avoid it. Jackson misses with a series of wild punches.

Slice has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Slice sizes up Paul with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Paul will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Slice scores with a shoulder strike. Magnussen just leaning against Slice, taking a breather. Slice tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Magnussen's elbow. Magnussen keeps control of Slice as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Magnussen looking to stall.
Slice tries to circle away but Magnussen has him pinned against the cage. Slice lands with a left to the head. Slice working hard to break the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Slice on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
