Cortez fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Trinaldo looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Cortez lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Trinaldo at a distance.
Good standup being displayed there by Cortez as he connects with a hook.
Trinaldo walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.#KD#
Cortez lands a left and a right that send Trinaldo crashing to the mat, dazed. Cortez thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
This has been an exciting period of action!

Cortez drops Trinaldo with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Trinaldo looks back up at him and smiles so Cortez waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed. #ROC#Trinaldo is rocked!
Cortez circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Trinaldo to the canvas! Trinaldo doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Cortez keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

After the fight, Don Cortez was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

Jameison has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Trinaldo to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Jameison is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Trinaldo pulls down on the head and he's put Jameison to sleep! This one is all over!
