Cardoso gets full guard. Brez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cardoso. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.#SUB# Cardoso has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Brez is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Cardoso. Cardoso struggling a bit here. Cardoso is looking to regain half guard here but Brez keeps moving and retains side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cardoso is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Cardoso tries to get to full guard but Brez has control of the leg. #R1##TD# Mi gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.#SUB# Cardoso drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Cardoso seems to have locked his on tight now - Mi screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Cardoso, as he picks up the win!
