Tandberg throws a right and a left that Stingray avoids nicely. Stevie Stingray seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tandberg cracks a nice hook into Stingray's ribs. Tandberg fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Stingray wants to clinch. Tandberg went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Tandberg throws a shot to the body.

Tandberg throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Stingrays head. This has been an exciting period of action! A nice right hand lands inside from Stingray. Couturier lands a right hook to the body.
Couturier stuns Stingray with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Stingray takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Couturier scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Jonathan Couturier seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Stingray looks winded! Couturier jabs Stingray to the body, keeping him at a distance. Couturier bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Stingray's head.#ROC#Stingray is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Stingray drops his hands momentarily. Couturier doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Stingray staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Stingray doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

#R1##TD# Erenberg shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Stingray napping and manages to drive through into side control! Stingray looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Erenberg has knee on belly and moves into mount. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Erenberg cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
#SUB# Erenberg quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Erenberg but it's paid off an Stingray is forced to tap! Nice work by Erenberg.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Terence Erenberg! Terence Erenberg decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way. |

#R1# Stingray throws a series of punches but Grapple avoids them all with ease. An attempted straight right counter from Grapple misses the target. Stingray doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Stingray looks winded! Grapple misses with a wild body shot. The crowd cheers as Grapple lands an impressive looking overhand right. Stingray doesn't seem phased though. Grapple keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Stingray takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Stingray takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Grapple throws the left hand but Stingray avoids the punch easily. Grapple lands with a nice body punch. Grapple misses with a jab, cross combination.
Grapple lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Grapple lands a nice looking body shot.
Stingray on the wrong end of a nice jab. I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Grapple has cracked Stingray with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Grapple lands another huge swinging hook and Stingray tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Stingray, before Grapple can land any more shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Johnny Grapple! Johnny Grapple spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant. |

White is leaning against Stingray and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. White tries for a takedown but Stingray manages to get underhooks.
#TD# White works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. White is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Hammerfist, elbow! yells White's corner. There ya go! There ya go! White wants to pass the guard but Stingray is keeping the position. White looking to control the position here, rather than advance. White works over Stingray with some ground and pound from guard. White working some strikes from top position. White distracts Stingray with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.#T1# White postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
