Lucaz tries to clinch there but Winnar circles away.
Winnar misses with a looping left.
Winnar lands a nice shot to the body.
Winnar looks to score with a jab to the body but Lucaz is just out of range.
Lucaz wants to clinch up but Winnar keeps it at a distance.
Winnar throws out a counter right but Lucaz avoids it with no problem.
Lucaz tries to close the distance and clinch but Winnar swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Winnar keeps the fight on the outside.#CL2#
Winnar closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Both guys are working to get underhooks.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lucaz is trying to maintain a safe position but Winnar gets an underhook and turns Lucaz into the cage.
Lucaz can't seem to implement his control oriented gameplan at the moment. That's no bad thing of course, for those of us who want to see a good fight.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Winnar creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Winnar dips a shoulder and cracks Lucaz with a mighty uppercut! Lucaz falls back against the cage and Winnar unloads with a barrage of strikes! Lucaz is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Winnar screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joe Winnar!

Lucaz is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Bestan trying to control but Lucaz is working from the bottom.

Bestan is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Lucaz has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Bestan is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Lucaz ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Lucaz no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Lucaz scores a nice knee to the body.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
