Negligence Thibodeaux seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A looping hook to the body misses from Thibodeaux. Wells does a little dance to reset his feet. Wells misses with an uppercut. Thibodeaux saw that one coming. Thibodeaux was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Thibodeaux slips under a jab. Wells scores with the left hand. Thibodeaux knows he should have avoided that one. Thibodeaux misses with a looping left. Wells should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Thibodeaux throws a shot from downtown. Wells moves away and avoids it. Wells moves out of range of the strikes. Thibodeaux missing with a left hand there. Wells was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Wells is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Thibodeaux blocks a jab. Thibodeaux on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Thibodeaux dodges the punch combination from Wells.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Wells throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Thibodeaux on the side of the head. Donk. Wells catches Thibodeaux right on the button with a cross. Thibodeaux takes a swing at Wells's ribcage but misses. Wells lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. letting Wells counter with a right hand. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A jab from Thibodeaux misses. Thibodeaux just misses with a punch to the body.
Wells staying out of range there. Thibodeaux misses with a shot to the body and Wells counters with a straight right hand. Wells throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Thibodeaux's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Wells dives in looking to finish as Thibodeaux flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Wells's strikes! Wells is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Thibodeaux's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Thibodeaux was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

and Bebok counters with a left and a right that stings Thibodeaux. Bebok tries to get into range but Thibodeaux steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Bebok! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Thibodeaux scores the big KO victory!
