Macedo content to stall in guard here. Macedo trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Correia is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Correia keeps trying to improve his position.#SUB2# Correia had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. and Potku cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Potku looks to land a left hand but Correia moved out of range nicely. We've been informed that Potku has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Correia throws a poor cross that misses
and Potku counters with a nice body shot. Correia walks into a straight right hand from Potku. Jab by Correia. Correia throws a big shot that misses. Potku drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Correia misses with an uppercut
letting Potku counter with a right hand. Correia walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.#ROC2#Correia is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Correia thows a left - swing and a miss! It seemed like Potku was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Oh Correia is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Correia with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Potku to score with a decent uppercut. Potku circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Correia to the canvas! Correia doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Potku keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

#R1# Shifty fails to land the takedown. Shifty pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Correia throws a jab when Shifty was well out of range. Shifty is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
#TD2# Shifty feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.#SUB2# Shifty drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Shifty jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Shifty is working Correia over from the guard. That's going to take a lot out of Shapy Shifty. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Correia throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Correia throws a shot from downtown. Shifty moves away and avoids it. Correia is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Shifty. The fighters circle momentarily. Shifty darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. And that is the end of the round. Correia moves out of range of the body kick. Correia circles away from the clinch attempt.
