#R1# Okaza slaps away a takedown attempt from Ido, before circling back to the center of the mat. Keisuke Ido seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ido shoots in for a takedown but Okaza shows good takedown defense. Okaza scores with a jab. Ido tries to clinch up but Okaza circles away and keeps his distance. Ido misses with a leg kick #TD2# and Okaza counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Okaza. Okaza postures up and lands a big shot to Ido's brow. Okaza with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Ido wants to stand up but Okaza is controlling him. Okaza really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ido. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.#SUB# Ido has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Okaza should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Ido has tightened it up now! Okaza should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Keisuke Ido! |
