Jones is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Takedown throws an overhand right that lands on Yashin's shoulder, as Yashin tries to avoid the shot.
Yashin tries to counter by clinching up but Takedown breaks away and moves out of range.

enabling Yashin to counter with a crisp jab.
Takedown looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Yashin wants to clinch.
Yashin swings and misses with a hook to the body. #KD#
Yashin feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Takedown sprawling to the canvas! Takedown rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Yashin finish him?! #ROC#Takedown is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Yashin darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Takedown's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Yashin before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
