#R1# Okaza missing with a left hand there. Yamaha was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. And Yamaha tries to counter it with a takedown but Okaza pushes his down on his head and steps out. Okaza slaps away a takedown attempt from Yamaha, before circling back to the center of the mat. Okaza swings widly with a right hand
and Yamaha counters with a one-two to the body. Yamaha slips a jab from Okaza. Yamaha shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Okaza pinned against the cage. Okaza gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Yamaha throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Okaza's waist but Okaza gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Yamaha off to one side. Goku Okaza has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Honda Yamaha. A telegraphed right hand from Okaza misses the target. Okaza misses with a straight left. Yamaha has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Okaza is landing a low percentage of strikes. Okaza jabbing away but nothing is landing. Okaza swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Yamaha on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Yamaha looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Yamaha slips under a jab. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Okaza darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Yamaha's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Okaza before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.

#R1# Okaza slaps away a takedown attempt from Ido, before circling back to the center of the mat. Keisuke Ido seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ido shoots in for a takedown but Okaza shows good takedown defense. Okaza scores with a jab. Ido tries to clinch up but Okaza circles away and keeps his distance. Ido misses with a leg kick #TD2# and Okaza counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Okaza. Okaza postures up and lands a big shot to Ido's brow. Okaza with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Ido wants to stand up but Okaza is controlling him. Okaza really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ido. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.#SUB# Ido has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Okaza should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Ido has tightened it up now! Okaza should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

#R1# Li defending well as Okaza loads up on a big left hand. Li thuds a left hand into Okaza's body. Li lands a body shot.
Okaza misses with a hook. Okaza fails to land the takedown. Okaza slips a jab and a cross from Li.
Okaza fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Okaza with a jab. Okaza jabbing away but nothing is landing. Okaza closes the distance and clinches up with Li, looking for a takedown. Okaza pushes Li against the cage but Li circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Goku Okaza. That's going to take a lot out of him. Okaza fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Li takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
#TD# Okaza is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Li's half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ground and pound from Okaza. Okaza throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Okaza throwing shots but Li is blocking nicely. Okaza thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Li's head. Li is concentrating on defense, preventing Okaza from advancing position. Okaza lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Li is controlling Okaza's trapped leg to prevent Okaza from advancing to side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Okaza thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Okaza slips a nice elbow through Li's hands, connecting with Li's forehead.#T2# The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Okaza connects with a nice short shot to Li's temple. Okaza winds up and cracks Li with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Okaza will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Okaza not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Li keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Okaza sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Li defending well though. Okaza throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Okaza prevents Li from improving his position. Okaza lands strikes from half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Okaza drops an elbow to the side of Li's head. Nice strikes from Okaza there. Li looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Li is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Okaza scores with a couple of nice shots. Okaza lands strikes from half guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Li can do anything to dispel that myth. Okaza thows a huge punch but Li dodges it nicely.

Okaza jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
