#TD# and Nobunaga counters with a nice double leg into side control. Fulani won't be happy with that. This has been an exciting period of action! A lull in the action here. Nobunaga wants to stand but Fulani has his arm trapped. #SUB# Nobunaga tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Nobunaga has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Fulani is looking for a sweep. Nobunaga tries to advance to mount but Fulani denies him. Fulani tries to improve position but can't. #SUB# Nobunaga is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Fulani has escaped the position, nice work there. Nobunaga controls the position. Fulani is positioning himself to get back to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SUB# Nobunaga thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T1# Nobunaga just content to control the position. Fulani is trying to get back to half guard. Fulani is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Nobunaga works to advance to full mount. Fulani defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Nobunaga takes Fulani's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Fulani is in trouble. Nobunaga keeps control of the position as Fulani tries to break free.
What can Fulani do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
You can see the frustration on Fulani's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Fulani is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

Nice work there by Yamamoto. #SUB2# Yamamoto got a little sloppy there for a moment and Fulani has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Yamamoto has managed to get both his arms back between Fulani's legs - danger averted. Yamamoto passes Fulani's right leg, so he's now in half guard. #SUB# Yamamoto is working for a kimura but Fulani is defending it quite comfortably.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fulani regains full guard. Nicely done. #R1# Fulani shoots in and drives through. Hopkins sprawls well. Fulani shoots in but no luck this time. Hopkins misses with a hook. Fulani ducked under it nicely. Fulani will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Jordan Hopkins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kataro Fulani. Fulani shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hopkins sprawls well. Hopkins wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Fulani gets slowly back to his feet.#TD2# Fulani shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Hopkins wants to get back to his feet.#SUB2# Fulani maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Hopkins could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Fulani has cracked it and Hopkins is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Fulani!
