Diaz misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Richer's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Diaz is holding on here and Richer must be using up a lot of energy. Diaz has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Richer gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.#TD#
Diaz throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. OMalley tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Diaz is in OMalley's guard.

He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - OMalley looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Diaz can't hide his disappointment, as OMalley celebrates the victory.
