As Frank tries to get set, Smoke tries to push him back and clinch up but Frank manages to avoid the attempt.
Frank throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Smoke's waist but Smoke gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Frank off to one side.
A quick step to the side and Smoke tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Frank has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Nganoo enables Frank to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Nganoo manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Frank scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Nganoo has momentary wrist control but Frank slips an elbow through the middle.
Nganoo definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Frank slips nicely into half guard.
Frank is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Nganoo is hurt! He's hurt bad - Frank fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Nganoo from any more punishment! Congratulations to Frank! Great finish!
