#R1##TD# Hazlehurst scores with a takedown into Bryan's guard. Hazlehurst landing with the ground and pound. Bryan not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Bryan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hazlehurst. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Hazlehurst keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Bryan's head. Hazlehurst controlling from the top position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bryan can't keep his opponent in guard - Hazlehurst advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Hazlehurst has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.#T1# Bryan is looking to escape. Hazlehurst performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Hazlehurst looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bryan with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. #SUB# Hazlehurst has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Bryan defend it? Hazlehurst steps over the head and cranks it - Bryan is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Hazlehurst!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Daniel Hazlehurst! |
