#R1# Vippus lands a glancing blow to the side of Says's head.#CUT2#It looks like Simon Says has been cut. Vippus shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Says sprawls well. Says wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Vippus gets slowly back to his feet. Says comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Vippus's coach down at Hotrod Express MMA Training was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Vippus's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Vippus shoots for a double leg takedown but Says sprawls well. He's pushed Vippus's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Says fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Says's jab looks to have found its range, popping Vippus under the eye. Vippus lands a leg kick that knocks Says off balance momentarily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Says jabs Vippus to the body, keeping him at a distance. DK Vippus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Vippus swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Says counters with a one-two to the body. #ROC#Vippus is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Vippus misses with a leg kick and Says counters with a huge right that knocks Vippus out cold! Says is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!

#R1# Mcgregor tries to close the distance and clinch up but Vippus swats him away and circles back towards the center. Mcgregor throws a sloppy head kick and Vippus moves out of range easily. Mcgregor takes a swing at Vippus's ribcage but misses. Vippus is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Mcgregor works the jab nicely. Mcgregor throws a head kick but Vippus moves out of range.
Vippus tries to counter by closing the distance. Mcgregor stuns Vippus with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Mcgregor keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Mcgregor fails to land with a series of punches.
A little jabbing left from Vippus on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Mcgregor scores with a jab to the head.
Vippus misses with a looping right. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vippus takes a body punch but keeps moving. Vippus throws a leg kick but Mcgregor moved away. Vippus throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mcgregor 's waist but Mcgregor gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Vippus off to one side. Mcgregor tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Vippus manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Vippus closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mcgregor circles away. Derrick Mcgregor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of DK Vippus.#T1# Mcgregor lands a slapping body shot.
Derrick Mcgregor is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Mcgregor throws a good cross that connects.
#ROC#Vippus is rocked! Mcgregor throws an overhand right that has Vippus reeling! Mcgregor follows up with more punches and Vippus is out cold! This one is all over!

#R1##TD# Tyson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Vippus napping and manages to drive through into side control! Tyson working the head with strikes. Tyson working away. Tyson cracks Vippus with a big elbow. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Vippus avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Tyson. Tyson taking a breather here. You can see the frustration on Vippus's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Tyson working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
#ROC#Vippus is rocked! Tyson working the head and body with strikes. Vippus is still in real trouble! Can Tyson finish him? We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Vippus can do anything to dispel that myth. Tyson in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Vippus looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Tyson turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
