Hansen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Van Der Velt on the ground.
Van Der Velt throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Hansen because Van Der Velt loaded up on that one.
Hansen wants to hold on but Van Der Velt pushes him away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Van Der Velt has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Hansen! Can he survive? No! He's out! Van Der Velt gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
