#R1# McFoy goes for a double leg but Koskinen avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Koskinen continues to drive forward. McFoy looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Koskinen fails with an attempt to clinch.
McFoy shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Koskinen was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Killian Koskinen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brian McFoy. McFoy fails with a takedown attempt from distance. McFoy misses with a body kick. McFoy throws a lazy body kick and Koskinen counters with a good low kick that McFoy was not able to check. #TD2# McFoy drives through with a takedown into guard. Koskinen controlling the position. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as McFoy accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McFoy wants to control from the top but Koskinen keeps moving. McFoy in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Koskinen pulls McFoy in close to his closed guard and prevents McFoy from doing any damage or advancing position. McFoy has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. McFoy is pulling down on Koskinen's head to control his posture. Koskinen looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Koskinen on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. McFoy takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. McFoy seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McFoy wants to pass the guard but Koskinen is defending well. Koskinen is looking to control McFoy's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Koskinen avoid being mounted? McFoy passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Koskinen! McFoy scoring with strikes but Koskinen is staying in there. BOOM! McFoy connects with a massive shot to the dome!
#ROC2#Koskinen is rocked! Koskinen is desperately trying to improve his position but McFoy has a good base and remains in mount. Oh Koskinen is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Koskinen is breathing heavily. The referee warns Koskinen that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
McFoy trying to control but he's not successful this time. #T4# McFoy landing strikes from the mount. McFoy postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Koskinen in real trouble here! The ref calls for Koskinen to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

#R1##CL2# Koskinen rushes Mesquita and presses him up against the cage. A short right from Koskinen on the inside. #BC2# Koskinen's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Mesquita closes this distance looking for a takedown but Koskinen circles away.#CL2# Koskinen fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mesquita, pushing him back against the cage.#BC2# Koskinen breaks from the clinch.
Mesquita fails with the takedown#CL2# and Koskinen moves into the clinch. Koskinen lands a hook that snaps the head of Mesquita backwards. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#BC2# Koskinen manages to break the clinch.

Mesquita will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Roger Mesquita. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mesquita misses with a takedown attempt - Koskinen sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.#T1# Koskinen scores with a crisp jab that stopped Mesquita in his tracks. #CL2# Mesquita gets tackled into the cage by Koskinen. Koskinen maintains the clinch. Koskinen lands a left hand.
#BC# Mesquita breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Mesquita misses with a takedown and Koskinen counters with a flying knee. Nice. Koskinen lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Koskinen. Mesquita really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Mesquita tries to close the distance and clinch but Koskinen swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. #T2# Koskinen scores with a kick to the midsection. Danga de danga de dang - Koskinen scores with a four punch combination! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Koskinen fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Mesquita shoots in for a takedown but Koskinen shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Koskinen dips down and scores with a jab to the body.#CL2# Mesquita tries to keep at a distance but Koskinen has taken the fight into the clinch. Koskinen is struggling to control the position. Mesquita being controlled against the cage.#T3# Koskinen displaying some good clinch control by pressing Mesquita up against the cage. Koskinen continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up.#BC2# Koskinen manages to break the clinch.
#CL2# Koskinen instigates a clinch. Mesquita is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Koskinen pulls him back up using the underhooks. Koskinen stalling the fight.

#T4##CL2# Koskinen closes the distance and clinches. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Koskinen. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Koskinen. A shot in the inside from Koskinen. Mesquita is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Koskinen is defending well. Come on Koskinen - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Koskinen effectively controlling the action here. Koskinen lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. #ROC2#Mesquita is rocked! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Killian Koskinen dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.#R2# Koskinen throws a head kick that Mesquita semi-blocks.
Oh Mesquita is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Mesquita walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Mesquita limp body while Koskinen jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!

#R1# Koskinen throws a nice looking combination but Stevie bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Koskinen scores with a jab to the jaw. Stevie takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Koskinen lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Koskinen fails to land with a series of punches.
Stevie really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. The crowd cheers as Koskinen lands an impressive looking overhand right. Stevie doesn't seem phased though. Koskinen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Koskinen punishes Stevie's body with a nice straight punch. Stevie ducks under a wild hook from Koskinen. Koskinen tries a head kick but it misses.
Stevie looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit. Nice shot by Koskinen.#ROC2#Stevie is rocked!#CUT2#It looks like Narcisse Stevie has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Stevie tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Koskinen defends well and Stevie ends up having to push Koskinen into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Oh Stevie is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Koskinen using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Stevie is breathing heavily. Koskinen lands a big knee to the head and Stevie goes down! Koskinen pounces and finishes the fight with strikes! He jumps to his feet and celebrates with the crowd!

#R1# Koskinen misses with a left hand letting Gaethje counter with a right hand. Gaethje works the jab nicely. Koskinen misses with a double jab.
Koskinen takes a swing at Gaethje's ribcage but misses. #KD2# Gaethje drops Koskinen with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Koskinen looks back up at him and smiles so Gaethje waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
#ROC2#Koskinen is rocked!#CUT2#It looks like Killian Koskinen has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Gaethje lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Koskinen - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Gaethje!
