Walter throws a series of punches but Shaw avoids them all with ease. Shaw throws a big counter combination but Walter scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Walter avoids the body shot from Shaw.

Martinez takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Walter lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Martinez at a distance.
We've been informed that Walter has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Walter will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

#R1# Walter throws a lazy right hand but Incons sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. No luck with that takedown attempt from Incons. #CL# Incons forces Walter back against the cage and clinches. Walter tries to break free but Incons pushes him back against the cage. Incons is looking to take this one to the mat. Incons prevents Walter from breaking the clinch.#BC# Incons manages to break the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#TD# Incons shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Incons wants to pass the guard but Walter is keeping the position. Incons trying to control but Walter is working from the bottom. #T1# Incons stops Walter from standing up. Incons trying to control but Walter is working from the bottom. Walter really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Incons. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Incons scoring with punches to the head and body. Incons pushes down on Walter's leg and manages to get into half guard. Incons is nestled in close to Walter, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Incons wants to pass the guard but Walter is defending well. Walter is refusing to be controlled, as Incons sits in half guard. #T2# Incons perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Incons has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Incons seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Walter does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Incons lands with a punch from half guard. Incons takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.#T3# Incons will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Incons wants to pass the guard but Walter is defending well. Incons wants to control but Walter is keeping him busy. #REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Incons shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Walter as he jumps to the side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brad Incons. That's going to take a lot out of him. Incons shoots in and drives through. Walter sprawls well. Walter misses with a head kick.

Great action here. Incons scores with punches and elbows. Walter covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.

Brad Incons dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!#R2##TD# A momentary lapse in concentration from Walter enables Incons to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Walter manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Walter scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Incons tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Walter throws a head kick that misses #TD# and Incons counters with a shoot takedown. Walter fights it but they end up in guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Incons passes into half guard. Incons wants to pass the guard but Walter is defending well. #SUB# Incons is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Walter is just riding it out for now. Incons eventually gives up the hold. Walter is breathing heavily. Incons is trying to control the action in half guard but Walter is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. #T1# Incons passes to full mount! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#SUB# Incons throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Walter has his hands clasped together but Incons breaks the hold and Walter is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Incons!
