It seemed like Penetrato was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Artic scores with a jab. We've been hearing reports that Vrjalya has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.#TD2# Vrjalya is fighting off a takedown attempt but Penetrato is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Vrjalya to the mat. Vrjalya regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.#SUB# Vrjalya looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
#SUB# Vrjalya working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Penetrato doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Penetrato manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. #SUB# Penetrato got a little sloppy there for a moment and Vrjalya has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Penetrato has managed to get both his arms back between Vrjalya's legs - danger averted. Penetrato must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.#SUB# Vrjalya pushes a forearm under Penetrato's chin to create some space.
