Bey makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Bey throws a big elbow that misses. Crawford seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Bey doesn't succeed with the takedown and Mills counters with a body kick that stops Bey in his tracks momentarily. Bey shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Mills counters with a straight punch to the midsection. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nassir Bey. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bey is breathing heavily. Mills lands a big head kick that sends Bey to the canvas! Mills follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

Bey gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Meth counters with a stiff right hand. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kingman wants to get back to his feet. Kingman tries to buck Bey off but Bey is having none of it. Bey trying to control the action but Kingman is working from the bottom. Bey fails to land a wild elbow strike.

#REVR# Puckett takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Bey has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Puckett is trying to work for a sweep but Bey has mounted him!
