A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Melikov accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Melikov lands a couple of decent looking shots. Melikov trying to stand up but can't free himself from Masprodov's guard. Masprodov is trying to keep Melikov in close.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB2# Melikov drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Masprodov manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Melikov has Masprodov in his guard.#REVR# Masprodov postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. #T1# Melikov is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. #SUB2# Melikov throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Melikov is pulling down on Masprodov's head. It's preventing any offense from Masprodov, at least for the moment.#SUB2# Melikov had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Masprodov defends it easily.#T2# A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Melikov is pulling down on Masprodov's head to control his posture. Melikov controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Let's hope that Melikov has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Melikov stands up over Masprodov, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Melikov is working Masprodov over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Melikov tries to free his leg and advance position but Masprodov is retaining full guard. Melikov is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T4# A few boos can be heard. Melikov is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard. Melikov wants to pass the guard but Masprodov is keeping the position. Melikov must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Melikov wants to pass to mount but Masprodov is defending the position. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

And that's the end of the fight! Ismail Melikov comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Melikov has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. #TD2# Masprodov manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Kiter lands a couple of decent looking shots. Masprodov looking for a sweep. Not yet Masprodov, not yet. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Kiter's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Masprodov is looking to stand up but Kiter isn't so interested in that idea. Masprodov wants to sweep here but Kiter controlling him for the moment. Kiter pushing down on Masprodov's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Masprodov wants to get back to full guard but Kiter has passed into side control. Masprodov is not content to let Kiter control the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Masprodov gets back to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kiter drops an elbow to the side of Masprodov's head. Masprodov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kiter. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.#T1# Kiter takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Kiter looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Kiter lands strikes from half guard. Masprodov is staying active underneath Kiter, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Kiter prevents Masprodov from standing back up.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kiter looking to control but Masprodov is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Kiter cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Masprodov is still in real trouble! Can Kiter finish him? Masprodov looks winded! Kiter landing shots from mount. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Masprodov can do anything to dispel that myth. Kiter connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

#R1##TD2# Zombermens shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Masprodov manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Masprodov is trying to control the position but Zombermens postures up. #SUB# Zombermens is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Masprodov has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Zombermens is looking to defend but Masprodov has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Zombermens! Masprodov pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Zombermens taps out and this one is all over!
