Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.
Quahaar swats away the attempt to clinch by Jitmuangnon.
Quahaar wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

I was talking to Quahaar's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Quahaar drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Jitmuangnon gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Jitmuangnon tries to close the distance and clinch but Quahaar swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
As Jitmuangnon tries to get set, Quahaar tries to push him back and clinch up but Jitmuangnon manages to avoid the attempt.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Quahaar is defended easily by Jitmuangnon.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Jitmuangnon is sitting in close to Quahaar's body. Quahaar has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Jitmuangnon is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Jitmuangnon is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Quahaar.

Nice uppercut lands for Murphy. That snapped Jitmuangnon's head back.

Murphy cracks Jitmuangnon with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Murphy has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Jitmuangnon to stand back up!

Jitmuangnon gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Murphy gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Jitmuangnon is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Omega feints and as Jitmuangnon raises his hands in defense, Omega changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Omega stays in close to Jitmuangnon's body and controls the position.
Jitmuangnon will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Jitmuangnon is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Jitmuangnon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Omega on the ground.
Omega controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. #SUB2#
Omega drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Omega as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Jitmuangnon screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Omega! Nice submission victory there!
