#R1##TD2# Garcia closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Rubi to the mat! Rubi manages to get full guard. Garcia preventing the sweep. Garcia pushing down on Rubi's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. #SUB2# Garcia is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Garcia trying to control the pace. Garcia thows a huge punch but Rubi dodges it nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Garcia is trying to control. Rubi wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Ground and pound from Garcia. Rubi slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Rubi wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. #T1# Garcia trying to control the position from guard on top but Rubi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Rubi looking for a sweep. Not yet Rubi, not yet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rubi manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. #T2# Garcia passes into side control, despite Rubi's attempt to control the position.
Rubi tries to buck Garcia off but Garcia is having none of it.#SUB2# Rubi wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Garcia has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Rubi's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Rubi is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Garcia!

#R1# Meth scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Rubi has a takedown stuffed. Rubi takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Rubi on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Meth's corner calls for a 1-2. Meth obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Meth stuns Rubi with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Meth scores with a jab. Rubi acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Rubi takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Rubi walks into a straight right hand from Meth. Meth ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Rubi takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Rubi takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Rubi looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Meth throws a jab when Rubi was well out of range. Rubi wants to counter the offense by Meth and move into the clinch position. Meth changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Meth scores with a one two! Rubi had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. #T1# Meth with a nice cross.#TD2# Meth gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Rubi wanted to stand there but Meth had control of the position. #SUB2# Rubi drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rubi jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Rubi working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Meth's head. Rubi working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Rubi forces his way into half guard.#T2##SUB2# Rubi in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Meth tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Rubi!

#TD# Rubi feints and as Orsetti raises his hands in defense, Rubi changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Rubi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Orsetti swivels though and keeps the full guard. Orsetti trying to control the position.

Rubi missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. #T1# Rubi throws a strike but Orsetti rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. #REVB# Orsetti trying to control but Rubi is working from the bottom. Orsetti tries to free his leg and advance position but Rubi is retaining full guard. Orsetti wants to control from the top but Rubi keeps moving. Rubi wants to stand and escape but Orsetti is having none of it. Rubi controlling the position. Orsetti forces his way into half guard. Orsetti is keen to just control but Rubi is a slippery customer. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#T2# Rubi holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Rubi tries to roll over but Orsetti keeps him under control.#REF3# The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Rubi takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Orsetti connects with a nice looking jab.

Orsetti sprawls well initially but Rubi persists and gets the takedown into half guard. #SUB2# Orsetti with the active half guard here but Rubi passes nicely into side control.#SUB# Rubi is trying to land an Americana. Rubi working away. Rubi content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Rubi with the ground and pound but Orsetti regains half guard under the barage of strikes. Orsetti is trying to maintain the position but Rubi is very close to passing his half guard.#T4# A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Rubi is figuring out what he wants to do next. Orsetti wants to get back to full guard. Rubi trying to control the pace. Orsetti has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Rubi is working away from the top position though. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Orsetti tries to get to full guard but Rubi has control of the leg. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Orsetti makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Orsetti. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Musa Rubi will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!#R2# Orsetti lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Orsetti wants to hold on but Rubi pushes him away. BOOM! Rubi connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Rubi takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. And that is the end of the round. Musa Rubi dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!#R3# Orsetti scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Orsetti lands a nice hook to Rubi's body. Rubi takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Musa Rubi is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Orsetti with a nice cross. Tim Orsetti seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Orsetti scores to the head and body with a nice combination!#TD# Rubi decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Orsetti moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Rubi throws a big right hand that misses. Rubi postures up.

He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Orsetti for as long as he can get away with. Orsetti sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.#T4# The fighters are battling for position here. And that's the end of the fight! Musa Rubi showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Rubi, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
