Mawma fails with the takedown letting Christ counter with a right hand. #CUT2#It looks like Joseph Mawma has been cut. Christ throws a jab when Mawma was well out of range. Mawma keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Christ. Christ blocks a leg kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mawma doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Mawma swings widly with a right hand
and Christ counters with a nice uppercut. Christ throws a right hand that misses
#TD# and Mawma counters with a nice double leg into side control. Christ won't be happy with that. #T1# Mawma wants to control but Christ is keeping him busy. Christ felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Christ is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mawma tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Christ tries to escape but Mawma is in control. Check out the look on Mawma's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

and Christ counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Graines throws a low kick but Christ avoids it. It seemed like Christ was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Graines throws a body kick that misses and Christ counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Graines badly! Christ follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Graines out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Christ finished him against the cage.

Ponny is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Ponny takes one on the button. That kick from Ponny tenderised Christ's leg. Christ is trying to keep his angry face on. Ponny throws a lazy right hand but Christ sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Christ fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Ponny looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.#CL2# Ponny drives through and clinches with Christ against the cage.
