Mahoo with a poor takedown enabling Kashi to counter with a crisp jab. A swing and a miss from Kashi. Mahoo lands with a right hand. Mahoo with a lazy takedown attempt and Kashi counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Couscous Mahoo. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mahoo takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Kashi, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.#TD2# Winner shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! Friedman with a poor takedown and Kashi counters with a straight right hand. Friedman tries for a takedown but Kashi sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Ka Kashi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Friedman. Friedman shoots in looking for a takedown. Kashi tries to sprawl out of it but Friedman keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kashi manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Friedman fails with a takedown attempt. Friedman slips a jab from Kashi. A punch combination from Kashi misses. Kashi connects with a nice looking jab.

That was a close round but I would say that Ka Kashi will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on David Friedman's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!#R2# Friedman steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kashi. David Friedman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kashi stuffs the takedown attempt from Friedman. Friedman gets slowly back to his feet. Friedman has his takedown stuffed and Kashi cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. A jab from Kashi does it's job there. Kashi throws a hook but Friedman blocks it. Kashi stuns Friedman with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Kashi slaps away a takedown attempt from Friedman, before circling back to the center of the mat. Ka Kashi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Friedman. Kashi misses with a looping right. Friedman only half commits to the counter leg kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kashi throws a shot from downtown. Friedman moves away and avoids it. A swing and a miss from Kashi. Friedman takes one to the side of the head.
Nice sprawl there from Kashi as Friedman shoots in. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Friedman.#T1# Friedman shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Kashi connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Friedman tumbling to the canvas! Kashi pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Friedman was done - good stoppage!

Nemkov takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Kashi sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Nemkov bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out!
