Arrington slaps away a takedown attempt from Mouth, before circling back to the center of the mat. Arrington attempts a counter takedown but Mouth avoids it well and moves away. Sloppy strikes from Mouth. Those never looked like landing. Arrington drops down looking for a counter takedown but Mouth sprawls and moves away. Mouth throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Arrington. Arrington tries to counter with a takedown but Mouth is quick to defend against it.#CL2# Mouth gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Boo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Arrington. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. An elbow from Arrington crashes against the mat.
Boo tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Arrington presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Boo is squirming around, avoiding Arrington's attempts to control the action. Poor strikes thrown by Arrington there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Arrington lands a big shot there that rocks Boo but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Friedman has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Friedman is looking to pass Arrington's guard but actually Arrington recovers to full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Arrington trying to keep a closed guard but Friedman is proving a slippery customer.
Friedman tries to free his leg and advance position but Arrington is retaining full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Arrington is looking to stand up but Friedman isn't so interested in that idea. Arrington on his back here. #R1# A slow jab from Tallahan misses its intended target. Arrington went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Arrington on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Tallahan throws an overhand right that lands on Arrington's shoulder, as Arrington tries to avoid the shot. Tallahan throws a shot from downtown. Arrington moves away and avoids it. Arrington throwing a counter right hand but Tallahan manages to avoid it. Tallahan wants to slow Arrington down by chopping away at his legs. Arrington feinted there with a counter leg kick. Arrington takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
