Mrkela shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mikhail's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Mrkela is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Mikhail is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Mrkela throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Mrkela wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mikhail keeps working.

Mikhail decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Low is pressing down on Mikhail's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Low looking for a sweep. Not yet Low, not yet.

Mikhail with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mikhail throws an elbow that misses. Low uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Mikhail's guard. Nice move by Low!#REVR#

Mikhail really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Low. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
