Bibbs misses with the ground and pound. Bibbs working away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bibbs advances to full mount. Suraj tries to lock up and control but Bibbs gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Bibbs misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Bibbs seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Suraj darts in looking for a takedown but Bibbs gets double underhooks and turns Suraj into the cage. Bibbs shoots in but no luck this time. Bibbs thows a left - swing and a miss! Bibbs has a takedown stuffed.#TD# Bibbs throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Suraj was covering up waiting for the punch and Bibbs finishes the takedown easily into guard. #SUB2# Suraj is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Suraj keeping moving, preventing Bibbs from controlling successfully. Suraj really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bibbs. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.#T1# Bibbs sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Suraj's guard. Suraj wants to get back to full guard but Bibbs has mounted him! You get the feeling that Suraj really doesn't like being in this position too much.
