#R1##CL# Yu clinches. Taiho is trying to pull guard but Yu turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Taiho goes for a takedown attempt but Yu pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
#CL# Yu has managed to clinch.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Yu. Yu's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Taiho jumps guard but Yu stands there with Taiho around his waist. Taiho gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Zhang Yu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Taiho Taiho. Taiho wants a takedown.
Taiho tries to pull guard but Yu won't allow it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Taiho being controlled against the cage. Yu lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Taiho looks winded! Yu lands a hook to the side of the head.#T1# Yu slows down the pace here.

Yu seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Yu lands a right hand that snaps the head of Taiho backwards. Yu is struggling to control the position. Taiho changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Yu fights it off and pushes away nicely.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Zhang Yu. Yu displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Taiho. As Taiho tries to get set, Yu tries to push him back and clinch up but Taiho manages to avoid the attempt.#T2##CL# Yu closes the distance and clinches. A short right from Yu on the inside. Yu lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Yu lands a nice uppercut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Taiho is still on wobbly legs! Can Yu finish him? A nice right hand lands inside from Yu. Yu creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Taiho with a big uppercut! Taiho tries to clinch up but Yu pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Taiho to the mat! Taiho covers up and Yu unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

#R1##TD2# Suraj gets caught flat footed, as Taiho shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.#SUB2# Taiho drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Taiho jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Taiho scoring with some ground and pound. #CUT2#It looks like Cale Suraj has been cut. Suraj is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Suraj wants to stand up but Taiho is controlling him. Taiho wants to control from the top but Suraj keeps moving. Taiho postures up in Suraj's guard and throws a big left but Suraj blocks it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Suraj utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Suraj looking to hit a scissor sweep but Taiho is one step ahead there. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Taiho's corner. There ya go! There ya go! #T1# Taiho postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Taiho wants to stand but Suraj is controlling his posture from full guard. Suraj can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Taiho controls the pace. Suraj definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Taiho content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Taiho stands up over Suraj, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Suraj preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Suraj is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Taiho is controlling him. Taiho wants to control from the top but Suraj keeps moving. #SUB2# Taiho is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. #T2# Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Suraj wants to sweep here but Taiho controlling him for the moment. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Suraj has momentary wrist control but Taiho slips an elbow through the middle. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Suraj doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Taiho postures up in Suraj's guard and throws a big left but Suraj blocks it. Taiho has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Taiho throws a big right hand that misses. Suraj is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Taiho is controlling him. #REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.#TD# Suraj shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Taiho's guard. Suraj prevents Taiho from getting back to his feet. #T3# Suraj pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Taiho is keeping the position for now. #SUB2# Taiho escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Suraj gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Suraj is fighting to break Taiho's control of his arms but Taiho is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Taiho lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.#REVB# Suraj looking to hit a scissor sweep but Taiho is one step ahead there. Suraj doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Taiho is nestled in close to Suraj, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Suraj is trying to maintain the position but Taiho is very close to passing his half guard. Suraj wants to improve his position but Taiho is controlling well.

Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Suraj's head. #T2# There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Suraj is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Taiho scores with a couple of nice shots.#CUT2#Cale Suraj's cut is getting worse. Taiho has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Taiho lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. #CUT2#Cale Suraj's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Taiho throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Suraj is trying to get back to full guard. Suraj is not content to let Taiho control the position. Taiho is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. #CUT2#Jeez, Cale Suraj's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
