The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rogerson scoring with some ground and pound. Rogerson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Rogerson controls from within his opponent's guard. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Rogerson's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Rogerson is in close to Curry's body, working some short punches and elbows. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Curry keeping full guard, as Rogerson tries to pass. Rogerson lands a couple of decent looking shots. Rogerson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Curry felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Rogerson looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Curry can't hide his disappointment, as Rogerson celebrates the victory.

#R1# Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive. Low fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Rogerson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Rogerson has a takedown stuffed. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rogerson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Low avoids it really well and circles away.#T1# Rogerson goes for a double leg but Low avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Low continues to drive forward. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Roger Rogerson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rogerson prevents Low from breaking the clinch. Low swings away with an uppercut that misses.
