Jones wants to get back to striking at distance but Pumoloski won't allow it.
Pumoloski lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Jones backwards. Pumoloski swings away with an uppercut that misses.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Jones has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Jones goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

The ref is looking closely - Jones is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Jones is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jackson is defended easily by Jones. Jackson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Jones looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Jackson takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.#CUT2#It looks like Brent Jackson has been cut. Jones moves in looking to clinch but Jackson pushes him off.#TD2# Jackson gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Jones wants to control from the top but Jackson keeps moving. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#SUB# Jackson looking for a guillotine here but Jones defends easily.

Roberts throws a quick inside leg kick. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Roberts comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Jones persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Riley keeping moving, preventing Jones from controlling successfully. #SUB2# Jones is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Riley has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Jones is looking to defend but Riley has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Jones! Riley pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Jones taps out and this one is all over!

#R1# Jonson paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Jones changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jonson tries to avoid it but Jones manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jonson to the ground. Jonson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Jones shoots in looking for a takedown but Jonson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jones's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Jonson with a nice cross. Jones gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Jonson gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
