Daily closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Daily connects with a nice short shot to Federal's temple.
Daily throwing shots but Federal is blocking nicely.
Daily looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Federal misses with some strikes from the bottom.

Federal throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Daily's waist but Daily gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Federal off to one side.
Federal shoots in looking for a takedown. Daily tries to sprawl out of it but Federal keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Daily manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Daily feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
