#R1# Son connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Ransom's hands. Ransom tries to move into range but Son moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Ransom has a takedown stuffed. Son ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ransom moves away. Son connects with a crisp jab. Son lands a nice shot that snaps Ransom's head back.
Son goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Son lands a jab to the nose. Ransom walks into a stiff left hand from Son. Ransom misses with a takedown and Son counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Son connects with a body shot.#T1# Son lands a jab to the head.
Ransom on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. #TD2# Son closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Son uses his free foot to push down on Ransom's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Ransom. Son thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Chriss tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Son manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Son drops down looking for a counter takedown but Chriss sprawls and moves away.#CL# Son rushes Chriss and presses him up against the cage. Chriss prevents a takedown attempt there.

The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Muffin tries to clinch but Son moves out of range. #CL2# Son moves into the clinch. Johnson preventing the sweep. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Son lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.#REVR# We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Crawford seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Son does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Son is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Crawford's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Crawford's back! Crawford is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Son has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Crawford's body.
#SUB# Son goes for a risky armbar from back mount and it's not paid off. Crawford escapes and is now in half guard on top. Son tries to get to full guard but Crawford has control of the leg. #T1# Crawford throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Crawford is trying to control.
