#R1# Gracie fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Gracie shoots in for a double leg but Hanma sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. We've been hearing reports that Gracie has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Gracie shoots in but no luck this time. Hanma with the counter takedown but Gracie avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Roldao Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him.#TD# Gracie gets a takedown into half guard.#SUB# Gracie seems to be looking for submissions.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hanma tries to roll over but Gracie keeps him under control. Gracie wants to control but Hanma is keeping him busy. #T1# Hanma keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Hanma tries to roll over but Gracie keeps him under control. Gracie tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hanma sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gracie somewhat.#TD# Gracie shoots in and bounces Hanma off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Gracie trying to control the position from guard on top but Hanma is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. #T3# Gracie is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Hanma is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Gracie tries to free his leg and advance position but Hanma is retaining full guard. Gracie looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Hanma is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Gracie pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hanma is keeping the position for now. #T4# The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Gracie trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Hanma manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! #REVB# The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Gracie is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Roldao Gracie dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.#R2# Hanma displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gracie. Gracie misses with a takedown attempt #TD2# and Hanma counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Nice strikes from Hanma there. Hanma is nestled in close to Gracie, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Gracie manages to get to full guard.
Hanma postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hanma is working Gracie over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Hanma's corner. There ya go! There ya go! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!

A very excited looking Baki Hanma made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. #R1# White is looking to clinch. White misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Gracie.
Gracie looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.#TD# Gracie closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. White struggling a bit here.#SUB# Gracie working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. The referee asks Gracie politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Gracie prefers to stall for the moment though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. White is trying to get back to half guard. White seems a little lost for a moment, as Gracie dominates the positioning.#T1# Gracie working away. White is looking for a sweep. Gracie is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down White's shoulder. That is not cool. #SUB# Gracie tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. White tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Gracie wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. #T2# The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Gracie controls the position from side control.#SUB# Gracie looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Gracie takes a little break here. White wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.#T3# Gracie seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down White for as long as he can get away with. Gracie continues to stall.#SUB# Gracie working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Gracie tries to score with some ground and pound. #R1# Gracie throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Thorne connects with a single shot there. Thorne throws a body punch but Gracie moves out of range. Gracie keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Nice jab there from Thorne. Thorne lands with a shot to the body. A solid body kick from Gracie. Thorne fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Gracie dives in and grabs Thorne's left leg, looking for a takedown. Thorne pushes down on Gracie's head and hops out. Gracie shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Thorne pinned against the cage. Thorne gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. #TD2# Gracie manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Thorne on his heels. He'll look to pass Thorne's guard now, I'm sure. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Gracie seems content to control from guard here.
