Driesen cracks Rooster with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Rooster keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Driesen scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#CL2# Driesen clinches up with Rooster and pushes him back against the cage. Rooster wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Driesen has him pressed against the cage. We've been told by Hatter's head coaches at Yellow Lotus Center of Healing and Meditative Arts that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.#TD2# Driesen manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Hatter on his heels. He'll look to pass Hatter's guard now, I'm sure. Driesen tries to free his leg and advance position but Hatter is retaining full guard. Driesen wants to control from the top but Hatter keeps moving. Driesen won't allow Hatter to get back to his feet. Hatter on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hatter tries to get out of the position. Right on cue, Driesen cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Driesen lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Van Driesen has got the better of the ground game so far. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Hatter manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

#R1##CL2# Driesen rushes Magomedov and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Magomedov has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Driesen after a bit of a struggle. Magomedov is working for takedown but Driesen is calmly controlling the position for now. Driesen prevents a takedown attempt there.
We've been hearing reports that Magomedov has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hasbulla Magomedov. That's going to take a lot out of him. Driesen gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Magomedov.
Driesen lands a shoulder strike. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Magomedov goes for a takedown in the clinch but Driesen prevents it.

Driesen displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Atkiray throws out the jab. Driesen looks to land a right hand but Atkiray moved out of range. Atkiray takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Atkiray looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Driesen works the jab nicely. Atkiray showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Driesen.

Driesen tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Fries defends well and Driesen ends up having to push Fries into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Van Driesen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
