I was talking to Quake's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Roberto lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Quake misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Quake has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Rodrigues with a nice cross. Quake misses the jab. Kape throws a big shot that misses. Despite the aggression on Quake's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Quake tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Quake connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Quake slips a jab from Kape. Kape bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. A good leg kick by Kape. Kape lands a nice leg kick that just misses Quake's sensitive parts. Quake tries to bum rush Kape with a series of wild strikes but Kape uses good footwork to avoid the assault. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Quake misses with a body shot.
Kape wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Kape staying out of range there. Quake throws a jab when Kape was well out of range. Quake missing with a left hand there. Kape was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Kape ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Quake moves away. A slow jab from Quake misses its intended target. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Quake crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Kape - the referee stops the clock and Quake gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Kape. Quake manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Quake connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Quake on the wrong end of a nice jab. Quake lands with a right that hurts Kape. Kape looks to clinch but Quake throws a short knee that drops Kape. This one is all over!

Quake cracks a nice hook into Pugsley's ribs. Quake definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Pugsley shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Quake pinned against the cage. Quake gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Pugsley on the wrong end of a nice hook. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Quake lands a nice looking body shot.

Quake lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Quake working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. This has been an exciting period of action! Pugsley is looking to control Quake's arms but Quake gets an underhook and turns him. Now Pugsley has his back to the cage. A short right hand to the side of the head by Quake. Quake is trying to break free. A shot in the inside from Quake. Quake is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Pugsley can do to turn this around? Quake is working Pugsley over against the cage.#TD2# Pugsley wants the takedown. Quake is fighting it off but Pugsley persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Quake's guard against the cage. Pugsley postures up.
Arthur Pugsley has got the better of the ground game so far. Pugsley controls from within his opponent's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Quake looking to sweep here. No luck so far. #T1# Pugsley is pushing down on Quake's leg trying to pass to half guard. Quake is fighting to maintain full guard but Pugsley has managed to sneak the leg through. Pugsley is taking a breather. Quake says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Pugsley's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.#REF3# The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.#T2# The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Pugsley misses with a takedown attempt and Quake counters with a stiff right hand. #TD2# Pugsley closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.#T3# Pugsley tries to move to mount but Quake blocks the move with his legs. A lull in the action here as Pugsley stalls from top position. More stalling from Pugsley. Pugsley with more of the same as he continues to hold on.#REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.#T4# The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.#TD2# Pugsley closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Quake is looking to reverse the position. Pugsley controls the position from side control. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Grimson is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Quake lands a glancing blow to the side of Grimson's head. Grimson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Quake sprawls well. Quake wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Grimson gets slowly back to his feet. Grimson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Quake was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Earth Quake has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jevon Grimson. Quake fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Grimson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Quake stuffs the takedown attempt from Grimson. Grimson gets slowly back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Grimson checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. A jab from Quake does it's job there. Grimson takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Grimson avoids a kick to the body.

That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!

#ROC#Four is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Four glances at the clock... BAM! Quake nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Four crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Four is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
