A lazy left from Whitlock finds it's target.
Rooster with a poor takedown
and Whitlock counters with a good low kick that Rooster was not able to check.
Rooster tries to clinch there but Whitlock circles away.
Rooster gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Rooster has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Whitlock takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Whitlock leaves Rooster with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Whitlock quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Rooster takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Whitlock looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Rooster ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Stepping on the scales for a second time, he still failed to make the required weight and after much deliberation, his fight with Bantam Rooster was cancelled.
