Sosuke tries to clinch up.
Hooper misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Sosuke! But no joy.
Sosuke throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hooper.
Hooper tries a head kick but it misses.
Hooper tries to bum rush Sosuke with a series of wild strikes but Sosuke uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Sosuke has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Hooper is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Hooper thumps Sosuke with a low kick.
Hooper throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A little jabbing left from Sosuke on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Chris Hooper seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sosuke lands with a straight right. Hooper didn't see that one coming.

Sosuke scores with a crisp jab that stopped Hooper in his tracks.

We've been told by Hooper's head coaches at Shadow Warriors (KT) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sosuke shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Hooper eats them both and turns towards Sosuke to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Hooper is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Sosuke chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Hooper can pounce on him.
Sosuke lands a nice shot that snaps Hooper's head back.

Sosuke lands a big uppercut and Hooper crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Hooper looks OK. Sosuke waves Hooper back to his feet!
Oh Hooper is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sosuke knocks out Hooper with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Sosuke before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Sosuke picks up the big W with a huge KO!

James shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
James is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
James works a leg free and moves into half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Hooper taking some punishment here, with James in his half guard.

James is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

James remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. #SUB2#
James has hold of Hooper's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Hooper tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - James cranks the arm and Hooper screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Hooper, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Hooper stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hooper wants it to stay on the feet.

Jackson shoots in looking for a takedown but Hooper manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jackson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Hooper displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jackson.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Anthony Jackson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
