Schroeder misses with a series of wild punches.
Schroeder is pawing at Thompson, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Thompson's nose. Thompson is badly hurt! Schroeder pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Thompson tries desperately to hold on but Schroeder is relentless in his assault! As Thompson receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Schroeder away and this one is in the books!
