Walker looks for a takedown but Yan sprawls well. Walker tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Yan manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.#CL2# Walker pushes Yan up against the cage in a clinch. Yan has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Yan is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Walker to keep the fight standing.#TD# Yan decides to pull guard. Walker trying to control the position from guard on top but Yan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Yan manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Walker manages to get himself to full guard.
#REVR# We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Yan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Walker swivels though and keeps the full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Soza closes the distance looking to clinch #TD# and Yan counters with a nice double leg into side control. Soza won't be happy with that. Soza bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! Yan throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Soza bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Soza throws a series of punches but Yan moves out of range. Soza throws a quick inside leg kick. #TD# Yan scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Yan would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Yan prevents Soza from getting back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Yan advances position into side control! Soza wants to control but Yan postures up.#T1# Soza is looking to regain half guard here but Yan keeps moving and retains side control. Julian Soza has got the better of the ground game so far. #R1##TD2# Yan fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Johnson to the ground. Yan is now in Johnson's guard. Yan is standing up over Johnson. Johnson looks to escape but Yan dives into side control.
#REVR# The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Johnson is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Yan in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Yan gets to mount! Johnson was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Johnson can't escape the position.
