Gallagher shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Black as he jumps to the side.
Gallagher looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Black is fending him off so far but Gallagher persists. Nope, Black circles away and we're back to standing.
Black half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.#TD#
Black manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Gallagher on his heels. He'll look to pass Gallagher's guard now, I'm sure.
Black is in close to Gallagher's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Gallagher has momentary wrist control but Black slips an elbow through the middle.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Black's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.#T4#
Black seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Gallagher for as long as he can get away with.

Black feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Black looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Gallagher with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
