Death stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Baddock is looking for the KO!#CUT2#It looks like Nuke Death has been cut.#KD2# Baddock lands a big head kick that sends Death tumbling to the mat! Baddock takes a step backwards and waves Death back to his feet - he wants the finish!#ROC2#Death is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Baddock cracks Death with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Death tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Baddock pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Death is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Wilder definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Death is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Wilder scores with a couple of nice shots. Death is looking to improve his position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Death blocking the ground and pound attempt from Wilder. Wilder sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Death defending well though. Death felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Wilder missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Wilder dives in for a single leg takedown but Death sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. It seemed like Death was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Wilder's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Wilder blocks an uppercut.

Wilder throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Death is staying active underneath Wilder, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Kan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. A telegraphed right hand from Death misses the target. Kan tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Death paws at him with a jab and circles away. Kan tries to clinch up. Kan moves away from the strike by Death. Kan fails in his attempt to clinch. #CL2# Kan has closed the distance and engaged Death in a clinch.
I was talking to Death's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Kan prevents a body shot from Death. A quick uppercut on the inside from Death. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Kan. Kan can't find room to land a body shot as Death controls the action.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Death fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

#R1# Moon shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Death but Death pushes him off and we're back to square one. Death attempts a counter takedown but Moon avoids it well and moves away. Wow, both these guys are really going for it!#TD2# Moon shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Death's guard. Moon throwing strikes but missing. My spies in Catch Wrestling L.A. inform me that Moon has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
