O Malley throws a fast counter high kick but Spice manages to duck under it in time.
O Malley takes a swing at Spice's ribcage but misses.
Spice thuds a left hand into O Malley's body.
O Malley is looking to clinch.
O Malley fails with the takedown.
Spice connects with the punch.
Spice fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. O Malley looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Spice connects with a body shot that sends O Malley's belly button to the back.
O Malley slips a jab and a cross from Spice.
Spice lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
O Malley tries to score a power double leg takedown but Spice sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten O Malley somewhat.

O Malley with a lazy takedown attempt
and Hughes counters with a series of strikes. O Malley will be more careful next time no doubt.
O Malley shoots in for a takedown but Hughes shows good takedown defense.
No luck for O Malley with that takedown attempt.
Despite the aggression on Hughes's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sean O Malley. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hughes displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from O Malley.
Hughes unleashes a big counter combination but O Malley bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Hughes shoots in looking for a takedown. O Malley tries to sprawl out of it but Hughes keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. O Malley manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as O Malley takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Sean O Malley.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for O Malley, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
