The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Moreno fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Vvv fails to land the takedown.#TD2# Vvv drives through with a takedown into Moreno's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Moreno has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Vvv has passed into side control.
Moreno tries to bench press Vvv off him but Vvv keeps the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Moreno sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Moreno is looking to get back to is feet but Vvv passes into side control.
Moreno is trying to control Vvv's posture but Vvv avoids it. #T1# Moreno wants to get back to his feet but Vvv drags him back down. Moreno is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Moreno works his way to full guard. Good work. Vvv wanted to stand there but Moreno had control of the position. Moreno managing to control the position. #T2# A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Vvv prevents Moreno from getting back to his feet. Vvv tries to stand but Moreno is controlling from the bottom. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Moreno is striking from the bottom but Vvv uses the opportunity to pass into half guard. Vvv takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Moreno keeping hold of Vvv's head, controlling as best he can. #REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.#T3# Moreno wants to clinch up but Vvv keeps it at a distance. Vvv throws a fast counter high kick but Moreno manages to duck under it in time.#TD2# A momentary lapse in concentration from Moreno enables Vvv to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Moreno manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Vvv trying to control but Moreno is working from the bottom. #SUB# Moreno is looking for a triangle here but Vvv uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Nope, Vvv circles away and we're back to standing. Vvv is trying to counter with his kicks. A bone on bone clash there as Vvv blocks the leg kick.
Vvv stuffs the takedown. Moreno is breathing heavily. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Moreno connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Moreno shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Vvv but Vvv pushes him off and we're back to square one. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Vvv is trying hard to land a takedown here. Moreno sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. No luck with that takedown attempt from Moreno. Vvv follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Anti Ii Moreno. That's going to take a lot out of him. Moreno tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Vvv defends well and Moreno ends up having to push Vvv into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Vvv counters with a body kick. Moreno drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Vvv gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Vvv shoots for a double leg takedown but Moreno sprawls well. He's pushed Vvv's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Moreno swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Vvv steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. Moreno fails in his attempt to clinch. Vvv follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. Moreno tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Vvv swivels and escapes. Moreno misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.#T4# A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Vvv. Moreno looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.#TD2# Vvv fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Moreno to the ground. Vvv is now in Moreno's guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Moreno trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! #SU2# Vvv decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

And Vvv responds with a good body kick, but Moreno manages to step out the way in time.#TD2# Vvv looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Moreno! Moreno struggling a bit here.#SU2# Vvv decides to take the fight back to the feet. Vvv Vvv seems to be getting the better of the standup. Vvv looks for a takedown but Moreno sprawls well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Moreno scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body.
