Vieira steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Spade. Vieira looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Vieira doesn't succeed with the takedown and Spade counters with a big right hand! Oh Vieira is in trouble here! Spade follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!

#R1# Nainggolan shoots in but doesn't get the takedown enabling Spade to counter with a crisp jab. Spade with a body punch. A glancing blow. Spade has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Nainggolan closes this distance looking for a takedown but Spade circles away. Nainggolan fails with a takedown attempt from distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paulus Nainggolan. That's going to take a lot out of him.#KD2# Spade lands a big uppercut and Nainggolan crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Nainggolan looks OK. Spade waves Nainggolan back to his feet!#ROC2#Nainggolan is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Spade darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Nainggolan's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Spade before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.

#R1# Spade rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
#TD# and Newton counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Spade! Spade really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Newton. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Newton is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Newton working the body and head with strikes. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Newton working the ground and pound but Spade is defending the strikes. Newton slows the pace down. #SUB# Newton has hold of Spade's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Spade seems comfortable defending it but Newton has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Spade is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Spade is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Newton couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Mendez moves out of range as Spade strikes. Mendez throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Spade throws a hook but Mendez avoids it easily. A big right from Spade misses. Spade tries to bum rush Mendez with a series of wild strikes but Mendez uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Spade missing with a left hand there. Mendez was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Spade takes a swing at Mendez's ribcage but misses. A jab from Spade misses. Mendez moves out of range as Spade strikes. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Spade uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Mendez. Mendez is looking to clinch but Spade is avoiding it.

Ace Spade seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mendez looks to throw the jab but Spade is out of range. Good shot there by Spade. Mendez moves away from the strike by Spade. Mendez tries to counter with a takedown but Spade is quick to defend against it. Mendez takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mendez lands a punch to the side of the head from the back. Mendez lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK. Spade tries to escape the position.

#R1##TD2# Bouillon manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Spade on his heels. He'll look to pass Spade's guard now, I'm sure. Spade avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Bouillon trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Bouillon is looking to work some ground and pound but Spade has wrist control. Bouillon landing with the ground and pound. Spade keeping moving, preventing Bouillon from controlling successfully. Spade not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Bouillon has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Spade is adopting a defensive guard. Bouillon is working Spade over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. #R1# Spade lands a nice shot that snaps Rupp's head back.
#CUT2#It looks like Scott Rupp has been cut. Scott Rupp seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rupp tries to move into range but Spade moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Rupp looks to land a combination but Spade avoids it well. Spade looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Rupp misses with a double jab.
A little jabbing left from Spade on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Rupp swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Rupp shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Nice uppercut lands for Spade. That snapped Rupp's head back.
Rupp walks straight into a right hand from Spade - that's dropped him! Spade jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Rupp from any more punishment! Rupp complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

#R1# Ace Spade connects with a good right hand that stumbles Jack Spade. Jack Spade circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Jack Spade is trying hard to land a takedown here. Ace Spade sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Jack Spade shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ace Spade but Ace Spade pushes him off and we're back to square one. A telegraphed right hand from Jack Spade misses the target. Ace Spade could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Jack Spade takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Jack Spade shoots in for a double leg but Ace Spade sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Ace Spade has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Spade. Ace Spade slips a straight right by Jack Spade. Ace Spade is looking to counter punch. Ace Spade connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Ace Spade staying out of range there. Ace Spade misses with a wild combination.
