As Simionescu looks to move away, Smith throws a big counter combo but Simionescu just gets out of the way.
Simionescu shoots in for a takedown but Smith shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
It looked like Smith wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Smith rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Simionescu moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
