Silva doesn't succeed with the takedown and Crawley makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Silva shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Crawley sprawls well. Crawley wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Silva gets slowly back to his feet. Bob Crawley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rickson Silva. Silva shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Crawley counters with a thumping low kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Crawley slips under a jab from Silva. It looked like Crawley wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Silva misses with a takedown and Crawley makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Silva throws a series of punches but Crawley avoids them all with ease. Crawley swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.#T1# Silva doesn't succeed with the takedown and Crawley counters with a head kick. Rickson Silva was interviewed post fight and said 'He was juiced to the gills and his corner had rubbed grease on his body so I couldn't take him down. And he smelled like R-Kelly's sheets....piss'. |

Crawley throws a body punch but Jovovic moves out of range. Jovovic goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Jovovic pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Crawley scores with the left hand. Jovovic knows he should have avoided that one. Crawley takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Jovovic definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Jovovic gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. That kick from Crawley tenderised Jovovic's leg. Jovovic is trying to keep his angry face on. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! Bar working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Crawley really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bar. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Crawley is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Bar is controlling him. Crawley utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Bar postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Crawley looking for a sweep. Not yet Crawley, not yet. Bar throws a big elbow that misses. Bar passes Crawley's left leg - he's now in half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Crawley keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
