Shields manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Nikolov on his heels. He'll look to pass Nikolov's guard now, I'm sure.
Shields is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Shields is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Nikolov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Shields. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.#SUB#
