#R1# Kennedy rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Luciano counters with a left to the body. Luciano pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Kennedy back to the cage. Luciano follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Kennedy connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Luciano momentarily.
Kennedy rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
enabling Luciano to counter with a crisp jab. Kennedy throws a lazy right hand but Luciano sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. A looping hook to the body misses from Kennedy. Luciano does a little dance to reset his feet. Luciano was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Kennedy swings widly with a right hand
letting Luciano counter with a right hand. A big left from Kennedy misses. Kennedy throws a shot from downtown. Luciano moves away and avoids it. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kennedy throws a body punch but Luciano moves out of range. Kennedy ducks under a wild hook from Luciano. Kennedy just misses with a punch to the body.
Luciano was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Luciano throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Luciano displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kennedy throws out the jab. The fighters circling - Kennedy throws out the jab but it was never going to land. #T1# Luciano dips down and scores with a jab to the body. A slow jab from Kennedy misses its intended target. Kennedy swings for the body but Luciano moves out of range.
Kennedy throws an overhand right that lands on Luciano's shoulder, as Luciano tries to avoid the shot. Kennedy missing with a left hand there. Luciano was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Luciano thuds his right hand into Kennedy's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Reuben Kennedy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kennedy throws a sloppy body shot
and Luciano makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.#KD# Luciano drops Kennedy with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Kennedy looks back up at him and smiles so Luciano waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
#ROC#Kennedy is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Luciano ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Kennedy's jaw. Kennedy's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Luciano does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

#R1# Kennedy swings away with a body shot that misses
#TD2# and Banner counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Kennedy tries to kick Banner off in order to stand up. Banner Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. #SUB2# Banner is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Kennedy has escaped the position, nice work there. Banner lands a nice forearm strike. Banner in side control, throwing shots but Kennedy defends. Banner misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Banner creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Kennedy sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Banner postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Banner misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

#T1# Kennedy is not content to let Banner control the position. Banner in side control, throwing shots but Kennedy defends. Banner misses with the ground and pound. Kennedy managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Banner.

Banner lands a decent elbow from side control. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Banner sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Kennedy is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

He's simply no match for Banner on the ground. Banner scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Kennedy is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Banner can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

Kennedy throws a hook to the side of Orwell's head but Orwell sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Orwell throwing a counter right hand but Kennedy manages to avoid it. Kennedy throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Orwell takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

#T1# Kennedy cracks Orwell with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Orwell tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Kennedy pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Orwell is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
