The fighters are pinned against the cage. Calaway manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. #CL2# Johnson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Johnson fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Johnson tries to pull guard but Calaway forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Mark Calaway has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Boris Johnson. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#TD# Calaway pulls guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Johnson is pushing Kioper up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Johnson goes for a takedown attempt but Kioper pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
